I am thrilled to be joining the team at Klinik Jubilee! My husband James and I have been married since 2014 and are excited to welcome our first child in October of this year. Born and raised in Nashville, TN, I met James at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. After graduation, I taught 6th grade math while also working with James to manage a Christian missions training facility called HUT. In September of 2016, we moved to Gonaives to partner with the Haiti Christian Development Project, an organization that has worked to support churches in the Artibonite valley for over 20 years. James will continue to partner with that organization as I step into the role of Administrative Director at Klink Jubilee. I am honored to be a part of the amazing team serving the community of Jubilee and can’t wait to see the ways God continues to work through Klinik to bring His hope and reconciliation to this community!
I was born and raised in Jubilee, and live here today. I am a few months away from finishing nursing school to become a registered nurse. Currently, I am the assistant director of Klinik Jubilee; I run the blood pressure program, and remain on call for emergencies. I love working in Klinik Jubilee; we have a wonderful staff, and it gives me the opportunity to help the people in my community. It is a great opportunity for me to take part in what God is doing in Jubilee.
I love God, and I love people.
In 2015 I moved to Gonaïves, Haiti, to begin teaching at Academie la Saline (Jubilee School). At the start of my second year teaching, I felt God beginning to lead me into a new role in Jubilee. It wasn’t long before I was clearly shown what that would be – Klinik Jubilee Social Worker. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, I was in awe of God’s faithfulness to me, as He provided me an opportunity to step back into the work I’m passionate about, in the community I love. As social worker, I direct the malnutrition treatment programs, and provide resources on a case by case basis.
I was born and raised in Jubilee, and have worked here all my life. First, I worked as a security guard at the school, and helped with the community garden. When classes began for the clinic, I attended class to become a CNA. While I was in class, I started my work at Klinik Jubilee. Now, I am the clinic's manager. I feel proud to be one of Klinik Jubilee's staff members. The ways we help people brings me joy every single day, because I love serving the people of Jubilee. I am thankful for all the clinic's supporters have done to help our clinic grow, and all we have accomplished together in Jubilee. When I think back to the Jubilee I was raised in, I can see all the improvement and change that has happened in Jubilee, and I can see that more change is coming.
Stateside support staff
I am the former director of Kinik Jubilee, an RN, and a mom of 4 wonderful children! Currently, I live in Nebraska with my husband, Brian, and work as the clinic's stateside Administrator. I love Haiti and had been traveling back and forth for over 12 years, when my husband and I decided to move here in 2012. I homeschooled most of my kids here, and had worked in Haiti teaching English classes and working as a school nurse, when the opportunity to take the position of the director of Klinik Jubilee fell in my lap in 2014. It is a privilege to watch this clinic grow and offer hope to the people of Jubilee. I am honored to work with a group of professional, dedicated, and compassionate individuals who go above and beyond to serve this community.
